Danzol 200mg contains Danazol, a synthetic androgen derivative. It is prescribed for conditions like endometriosis, fibrocystic breast disease, and hereditary angioedema. Danazol works by suppressing the release of pituitary hormones (LH & FSH), which lowers estrogen production. This helps in reducing symptoms such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, breast tenderness, and swelling. In hereditary angioedema, it reduces the frequency and severity of swelling attacks.
