ESOFIL 20MG CAP

Esofil 20 mg contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).

It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

Commonly prescribed for GERD (acid reflux), peptic ulcers, and erosive esophagitis.

Also used to prevent stomach ulcers in patients taking NSAIDs or with Zollinger–Ellison syndrome.

Usually taken once daily before meals, though dosing may vary by condition.

Possible side effects include headache, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating, or dizziness.

Long-term use should be monitored due to risks like vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium, or bone fractures.
