Safgo Met 2/500 mg is a combination antidiabetic tablet containing:

  • Glimepiride 2 mg – a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin secretion from the pancreas.

  • Metformin 500 mg – a biguanide that reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity.

This combination is used to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
