How to Use Accu-Chek Performa Strips 25s

1. Wash and dry your hands before testing
2. Insert the strip into your compatible Performa meter — the meter turns on automatically
3. Wait for the flashing blood drop symbol to appear on the screen
4. Use a lancing device to get a small blood drop from your fingertip
5. Touch the blood drop to the front edge of the yellow window on the strip tip
6. When the hourglass symbol flashes, enough blood has been absorbed
7. Your result appears on the screen in about 5 seconds
8. Remove and safely dispose of the used strip
