LOTRIX 30GM CREAM

Lotrix cream contains Permethrin 5% w/w, an ectoparasiticide in the pyrethroid group. It is used for topical treatment of scabies (mite infestation) and pediculosis (lice infestation). Permethrin works by disrupting the nervous system of the parasites, leading to paralysis and death of mites and lice, including their eggs. It is applied to the skin (or scalp in cases of lice), left on for a prescribed period (usually 8-14 hours for scabies), then washed off.
