ESVIN 20MG CAP

Esvin 20 mg contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).

It is used to reduce the production of stomach acid.

Commonly prescribed for conditions like acid reflux (GERD), heartburn, and healing of stomach or duodenal ulcers.

Works by blocking the proton pumps in stomach lining, which are responsible for the final step of acid secretion.

Usually taken once daily, 30-60 minutes before a meal to maximize effectiveness.

Possible side effects include headache, nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhea or constipation, and sometimes mild dizziness.

Long-term use may require monitoring for vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium levels, and possible risk of bone weakening.
