CEFIM 200MG CAP

Cefim 200 mg Capsule is a prescription antibiotic whose active ingredient is cefexime (a 3rd-generation cephalosporin).

Uses / Indications:

• Treats various bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia), ear infections, sinus infections, throat infections.

• Also used for urinary tract infections.

How it works:

• Cefexime kills bacteria by interfering with bacterial cell wall synthesis, which causes bacterial cell death. It has activity against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms.

Not for viral infections: It won’t work for colds or flu caused by viruses
