ARBI D 300/12.5MG TAB

Arbi-D 300/12.5 mg is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing Irbesartan 300 mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.

• Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that lowers blood pressure by preventing angiotensin II from binding its receptor, leading to blood vessel relaxation and decreased resistance.

• Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic; it increases excretion of sodium and water by the kidneys, decreasing blood volume, which also helps lower blood pressure.

Indications / Uses

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially in patients who need a dual approach.

• Sometimes used when a single drug (Irbesartan alone or a lower dose) is not sufficient.

• May help in prevention of kidney damage in diabetic patients with hypertension.
