Lipiget EZ is a combination medication containing Atorvastatin 10mg and Ezetimibe 20mg, manufactured by Getz Pharma. Atorvastatin is a statin that reduces the liver’s production of cholesterol, while Ezetimibe inhibits the absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they effectively lower LDL (bad) cholesterol, total cholesterol, and triglycerides, while increasing HDL (good) cholesterol. This combination is used to manage conditions such as primary hypercholesterolemia, homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH), and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
