SOFVASC V 5/80MG TAB 14S

Sofvasc V is a dual-combination antihypertensive tablet containing:

• Amlodipine 5 mg – a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.

• Valsartan 80 mg – an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents vasoconstriction and helps reduce blood pressure.

This combination is prescribed for patients with high blood pressure (hypertension) who require more than one medicine to achieve adequate control.

Uses:

• Management of hypertension

• Reduces risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage related to high blood pressure

• Sometimes used in patients with angina or other cardiovascular risks
