DRATE 70MG TAB 4S

Drate 70 mg contains Alendronate sodium, a bisphosphonate.

Used to prevent and treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men.

Also indicated for glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis and Paget’s disease of bone.

Works by slowing down bone breakdown, increasing bone mass, and reducing fracture risk.

Usually taken once weekly, first thing in the morning with plain water, on an empty stomach.

Patients must remain upright for at least 30 minutes after taking to prevent esophageal irritation.

Side effects may include abdominal pain, acid reflux, constipation, or musculoskeletal pain.
