Deep Heat Spray contains ingredients such as methyl salicylate, menthol, eucalyptus oil (in many formulations) that produce a warming / heating effect on the skin.

It is used for temporary relief of:

muscle soreness and stiffness (e.g. from over-use, sports)
joint aches and mild arthritis pain
sprains, strains, or simple bruises and low back pain

Application instructions generally include: hold the spray nozzle some distance from the skin (usually about 15 cm), spray on the painful area, and possibly gently rub in if needed. Use 2-3 times daily or as required.

Precautions: avoid broken or irritated skin, avoid contact with eyes, wash hands after use, don’t use in very young children without advice, and may cause skin irritation, burning or redness in some users.
