Augmentin Drops is a liquid form of the antibiotic co-amoxiclav (a combination of amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) designed especially for infants or young children.

It’s used to treat various bacterial infections such as:

Ear, nose & throat infections (e.g. otitis media, sinusitis)
Respiratory tract infections (upper and lower) in children
Skin and soft tissue infections, etc., caused by bacteria susceptible to co-amoxiclav

Because infants often cannot swallow tablets, this “drop” / suspension form allows careful dosing by weight. It needs to be shaken before use, dosage determined by doctor.
