TRISIL TAB (100S) is a medication used to treat symptoms of excessive stomach acid, such as heartburn, indigestion, and acid indigestion. It is a type of antacid that works by neutralizing stomach acid. The active ingredients are typically a combination of Aluminum Hydroxide and Magnesium Trisilicate. Some formulations, like “Trisil Plus,” may also contain Simethicone to help with bloating and gas. The combination of aluminum and magnesium helps to balance the effects on the bowel, as aluminum can be constipating while magnesium can cause diarrhea.
