EMPOLI 25MG TAB

Empoli 25 mg is a tablet whose active ingredient is empagliflozin.

It is used to treat type 2 diabetes by helping lower elevated blood sugar levels.

The drug works by inhibiting SGLT-2 in the kidneys, increasing glucose excretion in urine.

Usually taken once daily, with or without food, under medical supervision.

In addition to lowering blood sugar, it helps reduce risks of cardiovascular complications in suitable patients.

Possible side effects include dehydration, frequent urination, urinary tract or genital infections, and dizziness.

It is not suitable for people with type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, or severe kidney impairment.
