DONECEPT 5MG TAB

Donecept 5 mg contains Donepezil hydrochloride, a cholinesterase inhibitor.

Used in the management of mild to moderate dementia associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

Works by increasing acetylcholine levels in the brain, which helps improve memory, awareness, and the ability to perform daily functions.

Typically taken once daily at bedtime, with or without food.

Helps slow down the progression of cognitive decline but does not cure the disease.

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, muscle cramps, insomnia, and fatigue.

Should be used with caution in patients with heart rhythm disorders, asthma, or ulcers.
