Limigzol contains Zolmitriptan, a medication used to treat acute migraine attacks in adults. It is not intended for the prevention of migraines. Zolmitriptan works by narrowing the blood vessels around the brain, thereby alleviating migraine symptoms such as headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. Mayo Clinic

Dosage and Administration:

  • Initial Dose: 2.5 mg taken as soon as possible after the onset of a migraine.

  • Repeat Dose: If the migraine returns or is not relieved, a second dose may be taken after at least 2 hours.

  • Maximum Dose: Do not exceed 10 mg within a 24-hour period.

  • Note: Not recommended for children.
