Piotone Plus is an oral antidiabetic combination tablet that contains:

• Pioglitazone 15 mg – a thiazolidinedione (TZD) that improves insulin sensitivity, helping the body use insulin more effectively.

• Metformin 500 mg – a biguanide that reduces glucose production in the liver and improves glucose uptake by muscles.

Together, they help in better blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
