ERYTHROCIN GRANULE 60ML

Erythrocin Granules 60 mL contain erythromycin, a macrolide antibiotic.

It is commonly prescribed for bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, skin, soft tissues, and urinary tract.

Also used in some cases of whooping cough, diphtheria, syphilis, and chlamydial infections.

The granules are reconstituted with water to make an oral suspension for easier use, especially in children.

Works by stopping bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth.

Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or, rarely, liver function disturbance.

Should be taken exactly as prescribed, usually with food to reduce stomach upset, and the full course must be completed.
