CYTOTREXATE 2.5MG TAB

Cytotrexate 2.5mg contains Methotrexate, an antimetabolite and immunosuppressant. At this lower strength, it is most commonly prescribed for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and Crohn’s disease. It helps by suppressing the overactive immune system, thereby reducing joint pain, swelling, skin lesions, and inflammation. In some cases, it may also be used in maintenance therapy for certain cancers, but higher doses are usually preferred in oncology.
