Cytotrexate 10mg contains Methotrexate, an antimetabolite and immunosuppressant medicine. It is prescribed for the treatment of certain cancers (like leukemia, breast cancer, lung cancer, head & neck cancers), as well as autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn’s disease. Methotrexate works by inhibiting the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase, which interferes with DNA synthesis and cell division, thereby slowing down the rapid growth of cancer cells and suppressing overactive immune responses.
