Aerokast 4 mg Sachets (also called powder sachets) is a formulation of montelukast sodium.

It is used for:

  • Preventing and controlling asthma (including symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath) in children.

  • Treatment of allergic rhinitis / hay fever (relieving sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, itching).

  • Preventive use before exercise if exercise induces breathing difficulty.

The sachet (powder) form is helpful for those who cannot swallow tablets (e.g. young children).
