ACENAC GEL 20G

Acenac Gel 20g is a topical anti-inflammatory medication whose active ingredient is aceclofenac.

It is used to relieve pain, swelling, inflammation, and stiffness in conditions such as:

• Joint pain (e.g. osteoarthritis)

• Muscle pain, sprains, strains, soft tissue rheumatism

• Sports injuries and other localized musculoskeletal discomforts

• How it works:

When applied to the skin over the affected area, aceclofenac suppresses the action of enzymes (cyclooxygenases, COX) responsible for producing prostaglandins — chemicals in the body that promote pain, inflammation, and swelling. By reducing prostaglandin synthesis, the gel helps ease pain and inflammation locally.
