TAMSOLIN PLUS 0.4MG/0.5MG CAP is a combination medication used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate. It contains two active ingredients: tamsulosin (0.4mg) and dutasteride (0.5mg). Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that shrinks the enlarged prostate over time. The combination provides both immediate symptomatic relief and long-term prostate size reduction.
