SOFAC P 50MG TAB

Sofac P 50 mg Tablet is a fixed-dose antiviral combination used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. It generally contains:

• Sofosbuvir (50 mg) – a nucleotide analog polymerase inhibitor that blocks the HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, preventing viral replication.

• Ledipasvir / Velpatasvir (low strength, depending on formulation) – an NS5A inhibitor that works synergistically with Sofosbuvir for sustained viral suppression.

This dual mechanism helps achieve high cure rates in patients with chronic hepatitis C.
