DANZOL 100MG TAB

Danzol 100mg contains Danazol, a synthetic steroid derived from ethisterone. It is mainly used in the treatment of endometriosis, fibrocystic breast disease, and hereditary angioedema. Danazol works by suppressing the pituitary-ovarian axis, which reduces the release of certain hormones (LH and FSH). This leads to reduced estrogen production, helping relieve symptoms such as pelvic pain, breast tenderness, and swelling. In hereditary angioedema, it helps prevent recurrent attacks of swelling.
