BORIC ACID POWDER 20gm

What it is: Boric acid (chemical formula H₃BO₃) — a white, water-soluble powder with mild antimicrobial, antifungal, and astringent properties.

Uses:
  • Topical application for skin irritations, minor cuts or abrasions to help prevent or manage infection.
  • As an antifungal powder for conditions such as athlete’s foot or other superficial fungal infections.
  • For control of odors: e.g. foot odor, by applying to shoes or feet.
  • Sometimes used in ear drops or eyewashes in very dilute, veterinary / medical formulations.

How it works: Boric acid has weak acidic action, which can inhibit growth of some fungi and bacteria; acts as an astringent, helping to dry out moist skin and reduce irritation.
