Uses / How It Works:

  • Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

  • Can also be used to relieve chest pain (angina) and improve symptoms in certain cardiovascular conditions.

  • Nebivolol works by blocking β-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart, reducing heart rate and force of contraction, which lowers blood pressure. It also has a vasodilatory effect via increasing nitric oxide release in the blood vessels, which helps reduce resistance to blood flow
