AEROKAST 5mg Tablet contains Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist used to treat and prevent asthma symptoms and allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion) in children. It works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, chemicals in the body that cause inflammation and tightening of the airways. AEROKAST 5mg is commonly prescribed for children aged 6 to 14 years and is usually taken once daily, preferably in the evening. It should be used regularly for best results and under medical supervision.
