AEROKAST 10mg Tablet contains Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist used to manage and prevent asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and exercise-induced bronchospasm. It works by blocking leukotrienes, substances in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and constriction of airways. AEROKAST helps in improving breathing and reducing allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and wheezing. It is usually taken once daily in the evening, with or without food, as directed by a doctor.
