Caliptrol 10 mg Tablet (by Ferozsons) contains atorvastatin, a statin drug used to manage high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia).

It works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase in the liver, which reduces production of LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, lowers triglycerides, and can modestly increase HDL (“good”) cholesterol. It’s used both to treat elevated cholesterol levels and to reduce cardiovascular disease risk.
